Hi All,
Speed Thrill Pictures: 121 Toyota Car Accident With Indian Lorry Truck. what happens when a toyota car crashes into an Indian made lorry?
These are photos I received in an email forward from Sri Lanka showing a 121 Toyota car in an accident in Sri Lanka island A5 road between Pollonnaruwa and Batticloa towns. From the from one of the photo which show the over turned Indian lorry truck. (From the trucks body I think it is a Indian Ashok Leyland lorry is it?) and this Toyota car I thin is Chinese assembled new car in Sri Lanka. Just shows it doesn’t have to be always be a Ferrari GTO or Bugati Veyron to achieve a spectacular end.
Imagine the speed this flimsy body 121 Toyota traveled to overturn a sturdy Indian steel lorry. And what happened to the Toyota car passengers is anyone’s guess!
So drive safely.

the toyota car and indian lorry truck accident

what a toyota sri lanka car looks after an accident. crushed like a soda can.

final rights of a nice toyota coralla car crushed into a pulp.

police inspect toyota coralla accident crash. mark spot.

sad end to toyota car srilanka. They don't have wrecker services or rollback tow trucks in Sri Lanka. car is pulled by village farm tractor.

only half of the toyota accident car remains from the full car.

what a new 121 black toyota coralla car made in china looks like

damaged coralla car. see the z bend sign on the road.

local coralla car accident spectators

over turned Indian lorry in the behind the accident car. Unlike western trucks Indian trucks and lorry are built sturdy with solid steel and wood body. don't easily dent like a flimsy body American trucks like old ford trucks. God help Japanese car drivers in Sri Lanka!

Thanks for good stuff
The photo of the so called “what a new 121 black toyota coralla car made in china looks like” is NOT the Corolla 121, but it is the Corolla 141.
Hey dude, that’s Toyota Corolla NZE 121,…not 141….but the picture of brand new car is not the one crashes….its a 141 2006Model…… 121 cars are not assemble in China….
Im Sri Lankan…..we are not import Leyland as well….it sri lankan…….Lorry is “Lanka Ashok Leyland”…..
at least we can see these stuff since its a japanese or singa made toyota. stupid indians don’t even know the difference between 121 to a 141. imagine if it was a maruti 800 instead of a 121.ROFL.. you will see the ruins of car in moon..:P
Cheap chinese import. If srilanka keeps importing these kings of cheap imports from china, one day it will be the dumping yard of china.
I Think this has happened because the lorry fell over to the car. May be because of a problem with the lorry’s leaf springs.
How one assumes this car is chinese just bcos this publisher mentioned it>????? some people are really dumb. There are no such chinese models of this car in Sri Lanka. The fate of a maruti is assumable and no need to discuss here

i think it is the indian power . any country come with fight to the india same thing to be repeat ashokaleyland is indian power and toyota is opposition power
problem is not with the vehicles.
Its with the drivers who don’t care about the road rules.
This is not about the Car models or about the country who manufactured Them .
It is about reckless Driving , Make sure it is not us on the next Accident picture .
Drive Safe.
If you closely look at the pics, the airbag has gone off and the driver and passenger compartments are relatively secure, minimizing the damage to humans. That’s how REAL cars are made. In the even of an accident, the car will take a lot of damage but the passengers will have as little injuries as possible.
Indians wouldn’t know about real cars because they think steel and wood is what it takes to build a safe car. God bless them.
Hi,
I was one of the two witnesses of this accident. Apparently the car tried to overtake the lorry which was carrying 3 tons of sugar. The car had suddenly taken a sharp turn and it had made the lorry to flip over the car.
The lorry driver was fallen out of the car and diet of serious internal organ damage.
Surprisingly none of the passengers in the car were seriously injured. They were scared to death but all of them had minor abrasions. There were a car driver (Sri Lankan) and a Japanese couple in the car. These pics have been used extensively by the Sri Lanka police to warn drivers on Road Safety but none knows the true incident. Actually Toyota 121 was good as far as the safety concerned.
